The Association of Friends of Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery
Founded in 1931, the Friends is a registered charity which supports Birmingham Museums Trust both financially and through our team of enthusiastic volunteers.
We aim to give £25,000 to Birmingham Museums Trust every year. This money pays for capital projects, purchasing acquisitions, funding conservation work and supporting contemporary artists through commissions.
By paying the annual subscription and joining the Friends, you are helping to support and sustain the world class museum collections in Birmingham. To see a short version of the full financial status of the Friends, click Short Accounts.
