About Us

The Association of Friends of Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery
Founded in 1931, the Friends is a registered charity which supports Birmingham Museums Trust both financially and through our team of enthusiastic volunteers.

We aim to give £25,000 to Birmingham Museums Trust every year. This money pays for capital projects, purchasing acquisitions, funding conservation work and supporting contemporary artists through commissions.
