The Friends is an independent registered charity, which was set up in 1931 to support the work of Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery.  Over the years, this has extended to include nine museum sites that make up Birmingham Museums Trust. Find out more about who we are and what we do on the ‘About Us‘ page.

Our quarterly magazine, ‘Artefacts‘, is widely admired.  The most recent edition of ‘Artefacts’ can be downloaded here. Archive editions of ‘Artefacts’ and the Friends’ E-Newsletter are available and can be downloaded here.
